Join us for a full day of living history, music, art, and more! Our featured entertainers and demonstrators will be on hand from 10 AM to 4 PM (times may vary), bringing history to life across the historic New Castle Green and surrounding venues.

1st Delaware Regiment
Location: Corner of 3rd Street & Delaware Street, on the Green
Hours: 10 AM – 4 PM
Step back in time with the 1st Delaware Regiment, portraying the Delaware Continentals and Delaware militia of the American Revolution — along with their civilian camp followers. Visitors are invited to discover what soldiers of the Delaware Regiment looked like, the training they underwent, and what daily camp life was like during the Revolutionary War era. Weather permitting, this demonstration will be held outdoors. Check back for updates.
Special guest appearance (TBD): The Fife and Drum Corps, led by Musician Sergeant-Major Mary Torbey, may be joining the regiment for the event. Stay tuned for confirmation!

​​​​Kevin O'Malley — Colonial Sketching & Fraktur Art
Location: On the Green
Hours: 10 AM – 4 PM​
Dressed in period-appropriate colonial attire, artist Kevin O'Malley will demonstrate the materials and methods of sketching used during the colonial era, including the decorative folk art tradition known as fraktur. Best of all, Kevin will offer quick sketches of visitors — a unique keepsake you can take home! Don't miss this opportunity to watch history come to life on the page.

Civil War Dance Foundation
Location: Immanuel Parish Hall

Put on your dancing shoes! The Civil War Dance Foundation brings the elegance and energy of the Victorian era to life with demonstrations of period dances — and the audience is encouraged to join in! Whether you're an experienced dancer or just looking to try something new, this is a wonderfully fun and immersive experience for all ages.

Fort Delaware Cornet Band
Location: Courthouse Side Stage
Hours: 10 AM – 3 PM
Get ready for some wonderful live music courtesy of the Fort Delaware Cornet Band! Throughout the day, band members will stroll through town playing period-appropriate background music, setting the perfect historical atmosphere. The band will also perform a featured short concert — a don't-miss moment for music lovers of all ages. Weather permitting, the band will perform outdoors.
