2021 New Castle Events Update...

The annual Separation Day festivities are cancelled for the second year in a row due to gathering restrictions. But the good news: there is a new event on the New Castle calendar.

 

New Castle Community Partnership is sponsoring a Summer Garden Contest. The contest is open to all gardens within the New Castle city limits. Prizes will be awarded for the top voted gardens in 6 categories. Participants can register between April 25 and May 25th.  Starting April 25th , registration forms can be obtained via the link below or at the New Castle Court House Museum, Wednesday-Saturday 10:00am-3:30pm, or the New Castle Public Library during open hours. A $5.00 registration fee must accompany the form (Cash or Check).  Completed forms with fee can be mailed to the New Castle Community Partnership, PO Box 444, New Castle, DE 19720, or dropped off at the Court House or New Castle Library during open hours. Deadline for registration is May 25th. Judging will be May 26th-31st, with winners announced on June 1st.  For information email:
